The Bombay Chamber of Commerce & Industry Trust for Economic & Management Studies was constituted on August 27, 1996 by the Bombay Chamber of Commerce & Industry with a view to undertaking independent research activities of various economic and management issues for providing analytical view on macro-economic scenario, industrial performance and other issues of topical interest.
Objectives:
- Undertake product and sectoral studies, research activities on management and economic issues.
- Provide data information services.
- Publish periodicals, analytical articles on management and economic issues.
- Organize conferences, seminars and workshops for information dissemination.
The Trust is governed by a Board of Trustees which includes President, Vice President, Immediate Past President, Director General and Executive Director of the Bombay Chamber of Commerce and Industry as its ex-officio members.
The Advisory Board of the Trust guides on various research projects and other activities to be undertaken by the Trust. Currently the Advisory Board in being refurbished.
