Webinar on White-Collar Crimes in the Current Scenario - Feb 11, 2022

‘Post-COVID-19 Era’ has witnessed a highly digitised and transformed business environment, resulting in rapid increase in electronic transactions, heavy reliance on technology by companies for business operations, employees working remotely with lesser management oversight.

Threat landscape for fraud has changed significantly, resulting in the requirement for organisations to address emerging and new fraud risks by:

●  Assessing existing tools and technology in use to counter fraud

●  Strengthening Cyber security to protect business network infrastructure from increasing cyber-attacks

●  Understanding the importance of data protection and privacy

Time :  3.00 pm to 5.00 pm

According to a recent report titled `The Next Normal: Preparing for a Post-Pandemic Fraud Landscape’ released by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) USA,  highlights how fraud risk is evolving and the importance of staying ever-vigilant in protecting against its harms in the wake of the pandemic. This report highlights that the shifts in business operations, economic impacts and changes in consumer behavior due to the pandemic will likely remain significant factors affecting entities  and their fraud risks and anti-fraud programs.

Cyber incidents impact organizations causing significant financial and business losses arising from the theft of intellectual property, disruption of core operations, or the destruction of critical infrastructure or network incapacitation, apart from the theft of confidential data/sensitive information.
