Introduction :

Cities are systems with many different functions; transport, trade, administration, economic and social systems, culture to name a few. A ‘smart city’ therefore is 'the effective integration of physical, digital and human systems in the built environment to deliver a sustainable, prosperous and inclusive future for its citizens.’ To this end, smart cities mobilize many new technologies in achieving these goals.

Objective :

To discuss, identify and implement an ecosystem within a smart city and also the social and societal considerations such as improving sustainability, quality of life and economic performance.

Sachin Sadare has 17+ years of experience in the IT/ Telecom industry performing solution architect/ presales and business development roles – Digital Technologies and Internet of Things. He has done MBA from Melbourne Business School Australia and a Masters in Political Science. He also have three other PGDM degrees along with a BE in Electronics from VJTI, Mumbai in 1999.
