Background :
There is no compromise when it comes to safety! Continuous training on latest equipment and techniques is the first step towards “Zero Harm Culture” that enables individuals to work responsibly without any accidents. It is proven that Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, Proper Planning of technically correct work procedures, awareness, vigilance and ownership are the prerequisites for “Zero Harm Culture”.
Recognizing the need to provide high-quality training on safety, Bombay Chamber of Commerce and Industry in collaboration with Siemens Ltd., India is offering a Two Day Training in Electrical Safety at SITRUST, the Global Occupational Safety & Skills Center of Siemens Ltd. at Airoli, Navi Mumbai.
Objective :
The objective was to bring in global standards in safety adapted to Indian conditions. Branded as SITRUST ® , this unique training program includes an extensive hands-on practical component in a simulated project site environment. Risk management, with complex and multiple hazards are taught using effective methods that include Virtual Reality, use of prototypes, extensive use of videos & real life photographs, case studies, accident investigations and their corrective / preventive actions, etc. in-order to impart a holistic focus, based on real life cases and to sensitize the participants on ushering in a culture of Zero Harm. Training Methodology :
• Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) • Learning from Real Case Studies • Hands on Hazards Identification & Risk • Assessment (HIRA) Expected Outcome :
