Background:
As India aspires to be at the forefront in the global economy, increasing focus is aimed by the Indian regulators, investors and governance vigilantes towards the quality of governance and accountability taken by its corporate citizens. Accordingly, companies exhibiting resilient governance practices are prone to be perceived with governance premium as compared with companies which exhibit poor governance practices. Since, corporate governance will always be an evolving journey, governance professionals will need to upgrade themselves through understanding of better trends in governance practices in Indian and international environment. 

Purpose: 
Bombay Chamber organizes the conclave -
  • To present a platform for understanding the challenges, nuances and the practical aspects of frontiers which define the Corporate Governance framework in India. 

  • Through dialogue and constructive discussions amongst Senior Governance professionals who wear multiple hats in the form of Governance advocates, Chairpersons of the Board and various committees, legal advisors is an opportunity for the governance professionals.

 
Inter Corporate Quiz 
The Chamber brings in an interesting attribute to the Conclave and organizes Inter Corporate Quiz to bring in Infotainment. The quiz aims at upgrading the corporate governance knowledge including entertainment facet to the Conclave.
