Execution is the greatest unaddressed issue in the organization. Seeing an endeavour failing is not unique. We come across failed missions in our corporate life regularly. The legend CEO of GE, Jack Welch is a living example of using an Execution lever for excellence. His Execution Mantra, if practiced, will help in bridging the gap between strategy and success.
